About Us
Thryve is the Youth and Young Adult Auxiliary of Word of Grace Worship Center, a church located in Waldorf, Maryland.

Through intentional discipleship, community engagement, and outreach initiatives, Thryve equips youth and young adults to live out Kingdom values, develop spiritual maturity, and make meaningful impact within the church and beyond. Our programming is designed to cultivate identity, leadership, and active faith, empowering participants to thrive spiritually, socially, and purposefully.

Thryve is led by Ayeisha Kirkland, Youth and Young Adult Pastor, who serves under the leadership of Senior Pastor Bishop Dominic Curry and Executive Pastor Whitney Curry of Word of Grace Worship Center.

We exist to engage individuals in authentic relationship with God and community, disciple them through biblical teaching, spiritual formation, and accountability, and then send them out equipped to live on mission.
Through engagement, we move people from spectators to participants. Through discipleship, we develop mature, grounded believers.
Through being sent, we mobilize them to impact their families, communities, and the world for the advancement of the Kingdom.

STANDING ON BUSINESS
according to Luke 2:49 NKJV​​
"And He said to them, 'Why did you seek Me? Did you not know that I must be about My Father’s business?'"

This is a year where our youth make their Thryve their own, our youth pastor disciples like never before, Thryve becomes Kingdom-oriented through collaborations with other ministries, and Thryve continues to grow spiritually, but also numerically.
